Acupressure Basics: Healing with Pressure Points

What is Acupressure?

Acupressure is an ancient healing technique that involves applying physical pressure to specific points on the body. It is based on the same principles as acupuncture but uses fingers instead of needles. This self-healing art has been practiced in India and China for over 5,000 years.

In my experience, acupressure is a powerful complement to astrology and spiritual remedies. It works on the body's energy channels, helping to restore balance and promote natural healing.

The Meridian System

In traditional medicine, the body has 12 main meridians (energy channels). Each meridian is connected to a specific organ system. Acupressure points are located along these meridians. When a meridian is blocked or out of balance, it can lead to physical and emotional problems. Applying pressure to the right points helps restore the flow of energy.
